This Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information received or maintained about you when you join StatusMe.com.  StatusMe, LLC, publisher of StatusMe.com, providing communication on recreational activities, is committed to maintaining the privacy of personal information that you provide to us when registering or using StatusMe.com. 

You agree to the terms of this Policy by clicking on the “I AGREE" button during the registration process and through continued use of StatusMe.com services.  If you do not agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement, then you will not be able to proceed with the registration process.  You may terminate your services from StatusMe.com at any time.

1.           Changes to the Privacy Policy. StatusMe, LLC, may change the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time. The changes will appear in this document, which you can access at any time from the StatusMe.com web page. Your use of StatusMe.com after changes are made to this Policy means that you agree to be bound by such changes.

2.           Third Party Web Sites:  We may make content or services from other Web sites available to you from links located on StatusMe.com. These other Web sites are not subject to this Privacy Policy. We recommend that you review the privacy policy of each such Web site to determine how that site protects your privacy.

3.           Information Collected:  When you register we collect only very minimal personally identifiable information from you necessary to maintain registration data and to provide the communication services.  This information may include your name, e-mail address, password, security information, and other miscellaneous information.  We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of thirteen.

4.           Web Site Usage Information:  We automatically collect IP addresses and Web site usage information from you when you visit our Web site. This information helps us evaluate how our visitors and subscribers use and navigate our Web sites on an aggregate basis, including the number and frequency of visitors and subscribers to each Web page, and the length of their visits.

5.           Cookies:  We do not employ any cookie technology.  A cookie is a string of information that is sent by a Web site and stored on your hard drive or temporarily in your computer's memory.

6.           Data Security: The minimal amount of personally identifiable information we collect about you is stored in limited access servers. We will maintain safeguards to protect the security of these servers and your personally identifiable information.

• We do NOT send general e-mail notifications about our new or existing products and services, special offers, or to otherwise contact you.
